Gratitude Challenge Day 7

We are on Day 7 of our challenge and today I am thankful for supportive people in my life. Many of you read the post I wrote about the loss of our twins last month. That experience was so difficult and it continues to be difficult as we go through the mourning process but each day does get easier.  I know that it would have been a million times harder however, if we didn't have so many wonderful prayer warriors out there supporting us and praying for us. Some of you who have also been through this type of loss and some who sympathize with our experience. Some of you who had never met us before but heard our story.

In particular, I am extremely grateful to our priest at St. Mary's, Fr. Jeff Martin. He is a humble, kind, warm and genuine man who gave us options when we felt like we had none. He gave us hope that we could honor the lives of our little ones with a burial and prayer service for them. So we did that. You can read about that here.

Today I am thankful for supportive friends and family and for the power of prayer in my life. Without prayer, our world would be a whole lot darker.

Do you have prayer in your life? Give it a try. It may surprise you at how it can make a hopeless situation feel hopeful. And how it can give you peace. Try starting out by giving thanks and then having a conversation with God. He's always there to listen:)

Thanks for reading. Have a great day!

~Rebecca~
